Wild History
In October 2022, The Glengarry Trust and FAGCC supported workshops in Glengarry and in Fort Augustus, which gave young people in the area the chance to 'Rewild Themselves'!
With Tom Langhone (Fandabidozi Wilderness Adventures) and Caoimhe Keohane (Anam Yoga) at the helm, these were sure to be fun, informative days of adventure.
They were!
Thanks to Tom and Caoimhe for 'rewilding' the young folks!
There will be more chances to take part in 'Rewilding Ourselves' adventures, as Tom and Caoimhe return as part of The Gathering/An Cruinneachadh team.

Kilchuimen Academy pupil Charlotte took part in the workshop to kick off her John Muir Conservation Award.
In autumn 2022, The Fort Augustus & Area Gaelic Group worked in partnership with The Royal Scottish Geographical Society (RSGS) to support primary schools in Invergarry and Fort Augustus to do projects with themes that prepared the way for The Gathering/An Cruinneachadh. This included 'Rewilding Yourselves' and the 'Story Finders' Workshop.
Meanwhile, additional funding was secured from the Scottish International Festival of Storytelling to hold the Glen of the Bards winter event in Invergarry.
The Gathering / An Cruinneachadh Community Arts Project has been made possible by the generous grants received from; Fern Community Funds, Beinneun Wind Farm. Along with match funding from The Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston Community Company.
