An exciting evening event officially launching the Gathering 2015.
With food for the journey as its inspiration, enjoy a convivial evening with the Archbishop of Canterbury who, with a splash of live cooking and a generous helping of specially invited dinner guests, will explore the spirituality of eating together.
Hosted by the popular broadcaster, Rev Richard Coles, there will be conversation and cogitation over the various aspects of food and its spiritual, physical and community importance.
There will be live cooking by Kent's Community Chef, Mike Spackman, who uses his passion for food and cooking to help support and develop the skills of others.
Be sure not to miss this interactive evening of culinary delight. But if you do, you can order your DVD here!
NB - Throughout the day, the Gulbenkian Café will serve a £5 Food Bank special. Food bank bins will also be available for food donations. Proceeds for this event will go to local food banks and Kent's Community Chef.
