Welcome to The Gathering 2015, a festival of faith organised by the Diocese of Canterbury and held every two years in the beautiful surroundings of Canterbury Cathedral and its Precincts.
All are welcome to enjoy a day of stimulating talks, creative and interactive activities, entertainment, affirming worship and Bible study. Our theme this year is 'food for the journey...' and is inspired by John 6 verse 27- do not work for the food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life.
The Friday night event makes a welcome return for 2015 with Friday Night Kitchen. Officially launching The Gathering, enjoy a convivial evening with the Archbishop of Canterbury who will, with a splash of live cooking and a generous helping of specially invited dinner guests, explore the spirituality of eating together.
