Park and Ride:
Canterbury Park and Ride is a great way to beat city centre congestion.
There are 1,800 spaces available across three sites at New Dover Road, Sturry Road and Wincheap.
Buses run approximately every eight minutes, Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7.30pm. For more details
Canterbury has two mainline railway stations, East and West. Tickets are always issued to "Canterbury Stations" so you can use either for your journeys.
If you have a railcard, you can use it for reduced fares, excluding the 16-25 railcard in the morning peak Friday.
GroupSave tickets are available for 3 or 4 people to travel together off-peak for the price of two adults, and can be used from any South Eastern station to and from Canterbury.
Up to four kids can travel for just £1 each, single or return and under fives can travel for free.
By bicycle or on foot:
Canterbury has a network of safe cycle routes.
For cycling information contact Spokes on 01227 738 296.
